Miss C came in again this year for some updated glam portraits.  Ana B did a fabulous job dolling her up for her session and I had a blast photographing those beautiful blue eyes!  Thanks Miss C for coming back to the Old Town studio!

Miss C selected the lovely 7×7 Presentation Box to display her photographs.  Here are a few images of the final product!  There’s something so beautiful about matted photographs and a handcrafted silk box…makes me swoon every time!

The lovely Miss J came into the Old Town studio for her boudoir shoot to celebrate her.  After going through some major life changes recently, she wanted to treat herself to a luxurious photo session and gorgeous album.  We had so much fun pulling in a few details from her life and making this shoot about this next season.  Miss J, thank you so much for giving me the opportunity to photograph you and for allowing me to share some of your beautiful session!

Miss L called me up the week before her wedding to squeeze in a shoot in my Old Town Alexandria studio!  Incredibly I had one spot left open and I was able to have some printed photographs back to her in time for her wedding!

She had such a fun set of outfits and the loveliest sparkle in her eyes!  Miss L, thank you for allowing me to photograph you and share a few photos from your session!

Today is part 2 of my What to Wear series!  This is the “Sweet and Sultry” look…maybe my favorite.  It is soft, romantic, seemingly effortless and should feel more like your everyday at home attire (with a little flare of glam).  In my mind this is the classic movie-star just-rolled-out-of-bed look.  It features perfectly tousled hair, natural lip color, and rosy cheeks.  I rarely have clients bring shoes for this look as it seems to always go best with bare feet!
A few things that are good to bring for this kind of look:
bralette
cheeky panties
off the shoulder sweater
thin t-shirt
ropmer
headband or hat
simple stud earrings
crop tops
This look is great for the woman who might not love her mid-section as there are many options for items that hide what you want to hide and feature what you want to feature!

Please welcome the newest little member of the album family!

This beauty is a silk handcrafted album that holds 6-14 matted photographs (all vertical or horizontal).

The thick matted pages feel incredibly luxurious.  For an added fine-art appeal, you could do the whole album in black and white!
